The "over 20 horsepower" claim is based on the approximate stock 60 horsepower of the sportster 1200. I am attaching my dyno sheet. Keep in mind that in order to do a dyno tune you will need a screaming eagle race tuner. I was told my my Harley Master tech friends that remaps from Harley do not work well on sportsters, which is why I went with the race tuner. Money wise the dyno tune and race tuner cost over $700 as opposed to $250 for a Harley remap. The advantage is, when I do cams and heads, I can use the race tuner and dyno run to make a complete custom map for the changes.

(Since the forums usually makes images smaller when uploaded I am including a link tot he full sized image of the dyno sheet)

Thanks for posting the dyno sheet. That is pretty impressive if I may say so myself.

Even more impressive is the ride, the throttle is more responsive, the idle sounds meaner, it was well worth the money. Even I was surprised to see the numbers just that high, I expected 10 more at best.

Yeah 20 just seemed like an unreal number when first stated. Your dyno guy must know his stuff to get that much outta the engine.

Took it out for a 100 mile or so ride today, seemed to run fine sounded great no decel popping and throttle response seem the same if not better. Did not seem to run hot I will pull the plugs and check them when I get a minute.

If you haven't changed the A/C you should be fine.

I've been running short shots with Xied's and stock airbox for about 1500 miles. I have no complaints. I get a pop here and there but it doesn't bother me none. Haven't bothered checking the plugs.

Wow! $700 for 20 hp is not bad at all!

Well, truth be told it was more like $1,600 for 20 horsepower, if you factor in the price of the pipes and the A/C, but like I said, the race tuner stays with the bike so when I do cams, heads, and a big bore kit all I have to do is dyno it again. It's the "right" way to to fix your fuel curve after installing upgrades.

Good points. Did you go with the SE race tuner or another one like PC?
