I've studied my wiring diagrams, and the guy before me did a wacky wiring job, so I can't figure this out.

I have a tail light with red / black / and ground wires.

Hooking up the red wire to my brake switch, gives me rear brake, but no running tail light or front brake.

Any idea where I should be connecting the black wire from the tail light? It is NOT the ground. There is another ground which is properly connected, I'm assuming, since the back brake makes it shine.

Could this be a faulty circuit breaker? I'm not getting it to shine no matter where I hook it up....

I'm assuming it is the running tail light wire

Any ideas would be great. Thanks!
