I just got a 07 883 XLSportster C. I flat out love the bike! Yeah I know that I'll eventually go to a 1200 or something else, but I really love the bike. There are a few thinks I love about this bike...First of all I'm an older guy. I remember riding on the back of my dad's bike. 68 Sportster. Felt like I was going to shake off the back doing 105!! Classic Harley. I always loved the way the click sounds when shifting. The attention to detail is from another planet. Kinda reminds me of The Time machine movie. Even the stock tone is sweet! The lope of the engine is pure sex. A guy told me recently that some Yamers and other bikes can sound like Harleys. I told him..



They ain't no Harley!!

Sounds like you're excited. That's cool. Enjoy the bike. I'm on my second 883 - best bike in HD's lineup IMO.

Well. It's gonna be in the late 30's tomorrow. I'm riding my bike! Unless it is hailing or pouring down rain, I'm riding!

 

Was in the high 30's, low 40's here today with wind gusts up to 42 MPH...

I rode with a few guys I know on a little 75 mile cruise, and it was interested to say the least. LoL

Well, I must say metric bikes are trying so hard to copy harley but they are different. I almost got fooled by some Star motorcycles, they look exactly like HD but most chrome parts are made of plastic, not to mention the sound. No offense, just different bike.
