How to disassemble turn signals on 48
Has anyone done this successfully to get them powder coated/replaced/other?
Ive tried nearly everything to get the reflector out of the housing, but it is nearly impossible to do.
I have even taken the entire assembly off and unscrewed the nut behind the stem, no avail. How is this done without cracking the reflector or breaking the rubber gasket?

do it every day man... i like to cut and solder my wires as it is easier... simply pop the lense off you can use high compressed air from the stem to pop it out or reach in bet a small screw driver in around the rubber to remove them
if you are not comfortable we charge $25 per signal to coat in any one coat powder (like black) and can do full tear down and re assembly with soldering for $15 per lamp
