question about changing grips/bars
When changing grips is there a sleeve thats supposed to go between the throttle grip and the bar? Or is it just supposed to be loose so you can easily twist it?
I got some frisco bars and old school harley coke bottle grips, and i'm not going to pay the stealer $160 for such a simple task. I just want to make sure I know the proper way to do this first.

Or you could just buy a throttle sleeve from licks for $4.they don't have it listedon the site but you can e mail them and get it cause they sell it as an option when you buy grips.

I have changed my bars numerous times with no sleeve. Is it attached to the actual grip? If so thats why i never noticed it. I didnt remove the grips ever.

It's actually called a throttle tube. Some grips come with it already on the right grip - some don't and you have to buy it separate. I cut the grip off my stock one and reused it on my aftermarket grips. There's lots of places that sell them.
Here's a pic of one.
