Default Exhaust for 2008 Roadster

I am thinking about a exhaust upgrade on my 08 roadster , Which brings me to my questions are vance and hines staggered shorty pipes any good ? I am thinking about buying a set of chrome ones to improve the sound of my bike over the stock pipes on my bike now . Will these pipes fit onto my 08 roadster and will they effect the fuel mileage ? Do these pipes resist blueing ? Here is a photo of my 08 roasdster . I have already replaced both side covers and upper and lower belt guards with chrome pieces . I only have 2100 miles on my bike and thought a new exhaust will improve the looks and performance . I am hoping to receive from feedback from fellow riders who have experience with vance and hines exhausts on their sportsters .
Thankyou , Earl

The bike will improve VERY little, if any, with those pipes. They do look and sound good though. As for gas mileage.. that depends on your tuner. You will have to get a fuel management system, and depending on the tune of the fuel management system, it may increase or decrease your gas mileage.

Nice ride too! I've always liked those roadsters.
