intake leak or something else?

So i got around to replacing the intake seals,pretty easy actually. Replaced both intake seals and the seal between the carb and y pipe,its strange though,is the carb supposed to sit a little crooked on the seal that goes between carb and y pipe? Other than that,the hiccupping,backfiring and hesitation are now all gone,so that was my issue,thanks guys for all your help
