I may have to get one myself!
woodsy you don't need any special tools or a an oven anyhow.
just sand it paint it black in sun.
after several runs it'll look as cool as you want it to be.
had mine painted for about two weeks and not a single scratch on it.
just go for it!

ps. f.u w.g : P

I make a ton of small parts and powdercoat the majority of them black. I have 3 of those Craftsman guns. 1 for satin, 1 for wrinkle & one for mirror black. It's easy to change the colors but I keep those mini-guns dedicated to those specific colors and it's just as easy to powdercoat the parts as spray paint with them. I like the Craftsman gun alot. My only complaint is the small amount of powder they hold. Definitely a good gun to start out with. Take care of it & you probably won't need to upgrade.

When u takeoff the derby cover do u lose any fluid and do u have to replace any seals.

Also some of the things I have rattle can painted on bike I put it under a heat lamp and the parts are holding paint really well.

Can I use that gun just out in the sun without baking it in the oven? I might have to get one...

If the bike is level no fluid will leak out. If fluid leaks out you had too much...WITH THE BIKE LEVEL.

No. It's powder that you can wipe off. Baking activates it.

Damn. I can't wait to move into a house or something. That way I can set up a station for all this. As is, I only have one oven, and I kind of like to cook with it. :P

it's all safe if the bike is on a lift or upright.
