poor mans side mount licence plate
#11
I side mounted mine in less than 5 min on my 08' Nightster. The plate mount is adjustable with a bunch of slots and holes all over. It breaks down into two pieces, so I removed the outer half and turned it 90 deg... and put the screws back in.
I'm a genius.. I think...

"I still don't get it. What is the big deal about doing this to your license plate?"
When you chop your fender, in most cases the tailight and plate have to be relocated, because where they went isn't there anymore....
It's a pain in the butt here in FL, because our stupid rules say you can't have them mounted vertically....I'm still thinking about how I want to do mine.
