have a 09 iron and i love it,and its not my first ,i rode jap bikes for years,you wont look back,and like others said get a good seat,also spring for the front.

 

The 883 may be Harley Davidson's smallest engine but an 883 is NOT a small engine. Harleys are very heavy and i've at least sat on every model. Just lifting some of the bigger bikes of their stand take a good effort. A 500lb motorcycle like the Sportster is although heavy just about a perfect weight. Nightster and 48 are HDs coolest looking machines hands down. Good luck and ride safe.
