For cruisning the apes are far superior. For dragging the footpegs in a turning monster of a ride buckorns are waaaay better than apes.

I got some brand new buckhorns in my shop you can have for free, they are terrible. Mini Apes are the way to go. But again if you want them you can for them( Free)

I'm all about that buckhorn life. Ergonomics.

I rented a '13 72 yesterday that had mini-apes. I have got to admit that the ride was a lot better than I had expected. I'm now considering replacing that butt ugly riser and stock handlebar with a pair of mini-apes.

I have a buddy who wants to give me a mini ape. I currently run the buckhorn my bike came with. I don't have an issue with the look of the buckhorn. Looks are subjective. I'm hesitant to give up the control that the buckorn allows as opposed to a mini ape. There's no way a mini ape will give you better assurance in the corners. If that was true, Valentini Rossi would have them on his MotoGP racer. Plus, the extra cost of the cables probably not worth the switch

You won't need new cables.

Ok I'm really in need for some help. I just put apes on my bike and can not figure out the throttle cables. I have the throttle cable in the back and idle in the front as you are sitting on the bike. I have the cables connected at the top of the grip and it seems the cables are to long. Any help would be great.
