Restoring my dads sporster
As an intro Ill say that my experience in the HD world is limited, I do all my riding on a crotch rocket so I need some help with HD related material...
while my dad is out of town I want to suprise him and fix up his bike...
I am hoping you all can reccomend websites to find parts and any reccomendation on brands for said parts, what Im looking to do while he is gone is:
Carb rebuild kit
Jet Kit
Chain/sprockets
Tires
Exhaust
Cams
Intake
Is there a chain/sprocket kit for HD's?
Which tires would be good replacements, I want to get tires with more grip, not so worried about mileage
The bike is a 1992 Sportster 883 hugger
Thanks

zxrfool,
Here's a start: http://www.jpcycles.com/ and you can also try: http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/common/Frontpage.jsp
Nothing like bringing a Sporty up-to-date and adding your personal preferences! Good luck with your rebuild!
