I wear them mainly on long rides cause with the chrome grips they get pretty slippery with sweaty palms. Plus in the rain they help.......plus I must say the "look" is pretty stupid like a previous post you get a tan spot on your back hand and tan knuckles.

 

I don't know about this mimicking a riders tan bullshit but I polish the hell out of my bikes (I prefer clean bikes), I've logged well over 400,000 miles and I wear a stupid *** tan like this pretty much year round!!!

 

TWIS, may I suggest some sunblock? Or a trip to the tanning salon for your hands?
