Default avon grips for 48

just about to place an order. wanted to verify these are the right ones for a Forty Eight.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A3TGC5XRRCX4P2

Avon has a few that looks the same, but some are "push/pull throttle" and some part model #s don't.
thanks

Well, called avon. (that doesn't sound right..)
This item is right assuming the 2011 48 uses push/pull throttle.
The girl said push/pull is for older bikes.. and the fly by wire is for newer bikes.

so.. do i have push pull? i think i do since i can see cables. and with fly by wire that means all internal wires.. right?

Well unless something changed in the 2011 models (which I doubt), then you have push/pull. Easiest way to make sure is to open the control housing and slightly pull the grip out. If you see two cables, then you have push/pull.

thanks man. i'll just order up and assume nothing has changed.
my google powers are about as good as they get and there is just nothing coming up.

this dude lists "2010 Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom - XL 1200C" as compatible for this part #.

Should be good to go, aren't the touring bikes the only ones with fly by wire right now?

I believe the touring bikes are the only ones using fly-by-wire. Everything else(Sportster included) is push/pull.
