the plan would be to chop it down so its close to the size of the stock nightster fender.

that doesnt look bad. is the fender even that much different then the nightster fender?

You can get a Nightster fender for a 2010 (or is it 09) or newer and bolt it right on.

i would have to go new and im sure thats expensive. i can find any on ebay.

2010+ fenders don't have the ECM hole in the back, 2009's still do.
