Default Name that aftermarket part, if you dare.

Okay, in all seriousness I have no idea what brand this aftermarket air cleaner enclosure is. It's forced air induction with flaps as you'd see sticking out the top of a hot rod. I dont know why I bothered to explain it considering the photo below.

The goblin tinkerer inside me wants me to just tear the thing apart to learn about it, but my gut wants more information first.

looks like the kuryakyn hypercharger. Search the forums and you'll see a big dislike for this thing.

I have one, lots of show but no go. Had to modify mine to get it to work a little bit better.

After the top end up grades to my engine I'll probably switch over to a super sucker or equivalent...

Definite POS as everyone has agreed made for show not go. Oh and ya might want to revise your definition of forced induction this is more of tunnel ram induction. Forced induction (superchargers or turbos) is the act of increasing chamber pressure by forcibly adding more air to increase the amount of power created on the power stroke (stroke #3 of a 4 stroke engine). Tunnel ram (Kuryaken Hypercharger) is more of a guided intake and in some applications does show visible performance gains just not in this instance. Your best bet is to just go with an open element intake if you want performance. Now I just made myself sound like a pretentious know it all dick head. F**k it oh well
