I've got my spring seat set up on the way, and now I'd like to put some struts on the back. How short can I go in order for my stock tire to clear the fender without complications? Is 10" as close as I can get?

 

10" is about it. We have a few customers that have gone an extra 1/2 - 3/4 lower, but they also took care to re-route the wires that are on the inside of the fender.

Hm...I was going to order them from your page but you don't have them listed.

EDIT: Did a little more research and it sounds like I might as well go with the 10".

 

I made mine. 9.25" eye to eye but are adjustable up to 12".

But you can make your own with your stock shocks.

Here's a set I did for my mock up bike

Disassemble the stock shock



Drill a small hole in the bottom of each one to release the pressure so you can tack weld them closed







Those should work perfectly fine but I didn't ride on them because that bike ended up this way instead

Get the spring struts from Spitfire. Hands down the coolest struts I've ever seen and takes the shock out of your kidneys.

Hm..the Spitfire struts are 10.5 and don't seem much like struts at all. Seems like they compress?
