I have the silver matte finished engine. I want to get the black cylinders but my heads would still be silver. I want to paint the heads to match the cylinders. Can I use high-temp paint on those or am I asking for a nightmare?

Check out the photobucket link on 2nd post on this thread. I used black milled cylinders and my original heads. Next year I'll do the cams, black milles heads and chrome rocker covers. But for now I think it looks cool. As far as the paint Andy, why don't you start a new thread..get more visibility. G'Luck Bro.

I know that it's just a 'cosmetic issue', but there is something about the black engine that just looks so right, on a Sportster or any other Harley.
I was offered a super deal on a nice Softail Standard not long ago, but just couldn't get past the silver engine... That's bad, but oh well.. LoL...
