Its deep, down to the metal. What do you guys think? I workmate did the report and I will help by going over hours of cctv. Will the fender have to be resprayed? I am freaking angry as I have not put a mark on this bike after 14,000kms and some ******* does it for me on purpose

Chris
Sorry to hear that man. What really sucks about the paint on the Iron is that it's can't be touched up. It has to be completely resprayed, it happened on my fender that had a scratch no where near as bad as yours!

Hope you catch the bastard!

I seriously doubt someone keyed it.

It looks to be a very small scratch and there are 3 sections to it. A key mark would be a lot longer and usually are a solid scratch. I've fixed a lot of vandal jobs in the shop. Although it sounds very unlikely - I would much sooner believe a lawn mower blew a pebble at it or a ladies purse zipper hit it at the mall or something. It could be anything.

Sometimes people don't notice things. Could it have happened a week ago instead of the night you were at work? Maybe you just didn't see it until then. The possibilities are endless. I don't think it's a key job in an inconspicuous spot like that. And why didn't they do a number on your tank if they were out to get you?

Does your bike need a bath or something? It looks like there are alot more dings and a liquid of some sorts on the fender. But it could just be the way the picture is taken, or needs a bath like I said

I had to fire some ruthless bitch at work a few years back and the kunt keyed the fugg out of my truck in the parking lot. Guess I can't prove it but I know it was her.

It's something with the denim paint. If it's in a garage or really dark area and there's any small amount of moisture on it when you take a pic, it tends to look like that.

sorry to hear about your misfortune.
When you catch the perp, give them a choice of either the Iron Maiden or drawing and quartering.
