Default Iron 883 rear tire

Hey all!
Can anyone please help know how fat can I place a rear tire on a 2009 iron, without changing the stock swing arm?

Thanks

Depends on how big you want to go. You wouldn't have to change the swing arm unless you want to go to a 200 series or bigger but to go a couple sizes bigger than stock you would have to change out the belt drive to a chain drive.

Your limited to the distance between your drive belt and tire side wall right now.

The fattest rear tire that I know of that will go on a stock 04up Sporty, is a Metzeler ME880 160/80-16.

Most other 160s won't clear without some modifications.

Thanks a lot!
Metzeler ME880 is not that of a big difference than the stock tire, I think I have to change the swing arm to go up too 200!

Thanks
