I started riding on 6/03/2011 I hit 1000 miles on sportser yesterday 07/09/2011. It was fun watching the trip odometer reset to 000.0 It has been very interesting starting out afraid to get over 40mph and on the highway yesterday I hit 80mph
I was doing really good in June and thought I was going to hit the 1000 mile mark sooner I was at 500 miles on 6/16/2011. All I can say is there is a reason they are called EX girlfriends but at least the sex was great. The Harley is cheaper and less temperamental the EX is just mental. She hates the Harley but she is one of the reasons I got when she dumped me. I have been wind burnt sunburnt and my azz has been burning hot but it has been fun.

haha man. for surz. thats why my 48 is for ONE person. no nagg'n from behind, so nice.
Same boat as far as experience and getting more comphy. i put 400miles on my little starter bike, then last week got my a new bike.
310miles on her so far.

Nice! I'm about to hit the 1k on mine too. I got it the day after you got yours, some days I get 15 miles or so total and others (like today) I get over 100.

Got a thousand on her in about 35 days... Was easy to do when work is 38 miles round trip.

 

When I picked up my Nightster in Feb. '09 it took me all of 3 days to rack up 1000 miles. I took it into the dealer for it's first service and the mechanic in back said it had to be some sort of record. I can count on one hand how many days I didn't ride it between Feb. 27th and June 9th 09 that I didn't ride the past couple years my riding days have been few and far between due to being stationed in Germany and deployed to Afghanistan. Enjoy riding it as much as you can.

1,000 miles in a month that's pretty good. I'm almost at 4,00 since August 2010 and I commute every day to work!
