Hey everyone,

New to the forums and picking up the custom in 2 weeks and wanted to get some ideas on the stage 1 upgrade. Basically looking for good performance on a budget. Perhaps something i can do myself (moderate mechanical aptitude) . Any ideas and suggestions would be awesome thanks.

 

all, honesty, i'd go with a package from fuel moto. they can put together the stage 1 air cleaner, power commander, and mufflers in one package. They'll even install the efi-mapping ahead of time, so it's all just plug-n-play. i think that's the best bang-for-buck, and have done it 3x now.
