Default Brass ***** seat

Will these seats work on a 48? They look sick and I'm looking for a spring seat

Those are some nice seats. They can be made to work but it would depend on how involved you're looking to get. It would probably take a little fab work to make a bracket to make it fit.

they'll work. just about any seat will, you'll just need to get a seat hinge that fits your rear tank mount.

Just bought a seat from Anvil Customs at the Smoke Out similar to that. The problem is no one makes a hinge for the newer sporty frames. It needs to be 2&3/4" wide where it bolts to the frame at the rear tank mount. I found a guy here that make me one as soon as I get time to get over there with the bike and seat. Will post pictures when I get it done.

^^^darn right no one makes a hinge. well not totally true, i think a co. by the name of lucid kustoms makes one now for like 60$. it took me a few days to finish mine but i bought one off ebay labled "chopper, harley, bobber seat hinge" (lol) for 8$. my homie took it to his shop and cut a new piece the proper length, bent it and drilled it out for me. about 400mi. so far no problems.
