2012 Forty Eight
I gather from the HD site that the 2012 Forty Eight has new tank graphics and scorcher tyres. Is anyone aware of any other changes as if this is the only difference I may try and get a deal on a 2011 model.

The tank graphics are the only difference I see. Local dealer has three 2011's on the floor and two of them have scorchers on them

My local dealer also had 3 2011's on the floor. I got mine for well under msrp. It also has the scorcher tires on it.

My Dealer has so many 2011 sportsters that they have to park them behind the garage area. All including 48's can be had for well below MSRP.

They only put "tyres" on the Southern models...everything else gets std "tires"...

Dunlops on early 11's, Michelins on late 11's. Like the custom paint on the nightster, purple on early, green on late.
