Set #1 I got off a board member on another site new. I ruined them in my sprocket and ordered the next set via Amazon.

I think mine came from amazon.com a few years back. My ER-4, their top end model, came from headphone.com. It looks like headphone.com doesn't carry the ER-6 anymore, that's a shame, since their return policy is great.

Only way to fly. I wear a half helmet, and my plugs make going a lot more enjoyable without the wind noise. I even like the rumble better, because it cuts out everything else. Mine are only a pair of .99 cent shooters plugs that have a string attaching them.....but boy howdy....I wouldn't leave home without them.

Montana Cowboy: That's how I feel, I have to have some tunes when I ride. I feel it keeps me more aware of what's going on.
30bones: Sounds good I think I'm going to check there on amazon to see what I can find.
psyco1: I'll also check out that headphone.com site to see if I can't find anything. Thanks again everyone.

I actually did just order the Klipsch S4-i a few minutes ago on Ebay for $55.
it has an in-line phone answering/FF-RR-play button and mic too. I'm going to rig a system of belt/clip pouch & safety strap case hooked up to a 12v to USB charger coming off the battery quick connect with the sae plug.
I don't mind the safety issue thing, I'll have hundreds of backroads of solitude going thru the Great Plains & Yellowstone in a couple weeks! ;-)

Some riders would prefer to be surprised when they are side-swiped, I guess!
You crack me up dude! Your post is a f'n oxymoron from the get go.
Stay self righteous!

Um, okay...

If you are "already dangerous enough, to [yourself] AND others" as you state, then you need to find another hobby, and get away from motorcycles. BTW, where do you ride, so I can stay away from there?

The fact is, good earbuds reduce the white noise, allowing you to focus more fully on everything going on around you. Even the AMA now recommends that riders wear earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones.

Taken them bloody long enough! This subject first hit the bike mags back in the 70s. I get p1ssed off we are still debating it 30-odd years later, when using ear protection should be as common as using an ignition key.
