Cool thanks opiyone. If I'm going to spend some $$$ I'll go all out and get some crazy nice ones I think. Noise canceling ones would be nice. Ive been looking at these possible. Anyone know the company?

Thanks, thats a few people saying Skullcandy. I've never had a pair. Hows the quality? They look like the in-ear (titans) would fit nice inside a helmet.

I've got a couple of sets for my Iphone/Ipod. The stock Apple set are garbage so I bought an expensive set of noise cancelling ones and I would get a blast of sound once in a while which drove me nuts. I ended up at Best Buy and bought a set of the Skullcandy silicon in ear types for $10 and they are great.

Depends on if you wear a helmet or not: if you wear a FF or 3/4, most high fidelity or sound isolating or cancelling models stick too far out of your ear to be comfortable.

If you've got some $$ almost every motorcyclist I know screws around with a bunch of different $20-40 buds, then buys the Etymotic ER-6i. The i stands for Isolator. $80 or so.

They have a new model called the MC5 that costs a little less - don't know anyone using them.

I've been wearing my Skullcandys with half helmet for over a year now. On highway rides i wear them even if i'm not listening to my tunes : )

Actually the dual driver MAC iPod ear buds work great! I spent around $80 for the pair, and they kill the noise very nicely, even before you turn the tunes on. And the dual driver means good sound quality to boot.

If you're using an iPod, they have a remote on the cable from the right earbud that enables you to switch songs, pause, play, and adjust the volume without grabbing your iPod from your pocket.

Garandman: Thanks I think I'm going to have to make a trip to the store and see all these buds in person. Guess it's just up to the discression of the rider? I mean how much different can earbuds be?
Cazimere: Do they stay in your ear when you have your 1/2 on? Cause I tend to wear mine more than my full face.
Gustapo: I think I use to have these once. They were pretty good and had a good quality. Plus the remote makes it a bit safer to handle.
