Default Probably I'm Not Meant to Ride My Harley

Bought the bike 3 weeks ago - just sitting in the garage since I'm waiting for the title from the seller (financed via HD). Finally got the title today, and literally 5 minutes after I exit the DMV, it started to rain. I checked the weather and it will be raining for the next 3 days. And for the whole 3 weeks waiting periods - probably it only rained 2 times...!!

That's right but I have not gotten myself familiar with this bike (well, I've wiped and cleaned the whole bike 3 times already but probably only rode it once at low speed around the housing complex) and would rather play it safe and wait until the weather is good.

A 30 or 40% chance, don't mean you will get wet. Just ride the thing ... always a chance of thunderstorms in the summer.

Oh yeah ... you get great deals buying used bikes, but if the things are financed through Eagle, you can expect 3 - 4 excruciating weeks before they get you the title to hand off to DMV.

That's right. After this time around, I will never buy a bike without getting the title right away. I'd rather pay a bit extra than to repeat this waiting game ever again!

The same thing will happen after you order new parts and get them installed.

hkw8! You are absolutely right. I know it seems like forever but once you get out there you'll forget all about the delays!!!
