Default F'ing noise from left side

So i have adjusted my primary to service manual settings. But that damn noise won't quit. High temp at high rmp there is a metallic clatter. I have seen other threads on this subject but really no definitive answer. Also did fluid change, full synthetic. By process of elimination, it has to be something that changes at high temp. Also thinking that something could be rattling around in the primary fluid and when the temp gets high the oil is thinner, causing it to rattle in thin oil and not thick. Help?

If the bike in question is a 2011, take it to the dealer asap under warranty just to be sure it's nothing catastrophic.

Nice bike man,are you puttin the bike in 5th gear and rollin the rear tire to find the tightest spot in the primary chain and adjusting from there?

So i figured it out. Took off the primary cover and it looks as if the chain it eating into it a little. This has to be the noise....right? Now check this out. I was reinstalling the clutch cable to the primary and the bolt just sheared right off. I got the nubb out, but now have to buy a new cable. just cant get ahead.

Might be worth rethreading the hole so you don't have to buy a second cable. It's under warranty, should have made the dealer check it.If they broke the cable it would have been free.
