Bought my 09 1200C brand new and have 12000 miles on her. Was head over heals for the bike until I took out a Fat Bob for a test ride last week...

Had the sporty 2 years.

Plan on keeping it? For awhile. I'd honestly like to trade it in for a fatboy but I'm at the point in my life where that's not economically possible. So probably will keep it 8 more years.

Heck I may keep it forever depends if I can just flat out afford a bigger bike.

I will probably dump mine in a bad naighborhood to get stripped it serisouly took all the fun out of riding. I had an 09 883 custom and loved it alot probably an unhealthy amount lol. It was fantastic and great. Have a 02 1200 custom and hate it to pieces. I hate it b.c i paid way to much for it and had to fix way to much right away. And now i think there is something wrong with it everday.

Bought her new in 1994; an 883 Hugger. Still in the garage, but with lots of changes.

Bought my first Sporty in May 2008. Bought my Heritage Softail Classic in January 2010. Didn't ride the sporty too much after that. I wound up selling the Sporty in November 2010.

Just last week I bought my wife another Sporty. Now I feel like riding hers once in awhile. I still love my Heritage as my regular bike and for any real trips.

My plan is to leave my 09 XR1200 in my will. I'm 70 and have no idea how long that will be.

Had a Fatboy and the wife had a Sporty, then sold them and went quite a while without a bike. (baby conceived when we rode up to Bike Week in '97)
Just found a used 1200 Custom, she found an 883 and we're both riding again with the boy on the back of mine. I think I like the Sporty better than the Big Twin. Probably going to keep it around for a long while. (if the boy doesn't take it over...)

Only bike I've ever ridden prior to my 48 was my brothers Fat Boy. Had the money to get something bigger, but couldn't get passed the 48. Doubt I'll ever let it go.
