Put the gaskets on, put the large cover back on, stick a funnel in the little hole, add a quart of fluid, put the little cover back on. Right?

The cover I'm replacing the seal because all my fluid leaked out. It's the main seal between the cover and block

Not sure. Smack the primary casing with a rubber mallet if you're sure all the bolts are out. Maybe it's never been removed and just stuck with the gasket and being stubborn.

Did you loosen the primary chain tensioner.

Disconnect the clutch cable?

You should get a manual?

If you did all that and ensured you removed all the bolts........Then someone might of used Permatex gasket sealer on it and you'll play a bit of hell to get it off.
Could just be stuck.
Tap it with a rubber mallet.
Just be patient and it will come off.

yes, you'll see a slot in the bolt for a screwdriver and the nut is to lock it tight.

If you couldn't figure out how to remove the clutch cable. You should immediately get a service manual for your make and year bike......

Loosen the cable (half way up the cable) under the rubber boot.

As far as the torque specs, primary chain tensioning procedure, clutch adjustment, ETC.
You should get a manual.
Its just way to involved and to much to type............
