Default Looking for a tank bag

I'm looking for a decent magnetic tank bag for my 04 Sportster Custom. I'd like something that has a waterproof clear pouch that I can put my phone into as well as maybe something expandable. Anyone have a recommendation? Thanks!

Buy a Jap bike, would be my recommendation. Or a Jap tank
Sportster tanks just are not shaped right for tank bags, and they look dang ugly to boot.

Sutto, don't let the Harley fashion police bother you......

There are lots of different types of tank bags. I don't own one, but for the extra storage I've been looking around.

I'm not sure if it will fit a 2004, but this one has caught my eye for a while.

It's the joe rocket hammerhead tank bag.
Not a bad price either!

I got the perfect one. I own it, too. Made by Nelson Rigg.

Check out the Firstgear Laguna GPS tank bag, it also doubles as a backpack. Its on the small side but fits the 3.3 gal tank well

I bought this one. It leaves the fuel cap free so you don't have to remove it to fill up.

Yeah, I thought about the price, about two- three times more than some of the others, but when I got it I realized it had all kinds of compartments, all kinds of internal holders, a no scratch cloth, all kinds of fastening straps in addition to the magnets, a nice carrying strap and it expands to a really big size. You will like it if you decide to get it.

Here's one I considered but I don't like the idea of abrading my paint. I do like the large map/GPS pocket and the pouch for an MP3 player. The dimensions of this bag seemed reasonable for the broader top area of a 4.5 glln tank on the Customs. Not expandable, unfortunately.
