Default a question for those with aftermarket exhaust

Did your aftermarket setup come with new support brackets? Specifically the rear exhaust support bracket. I am in need of a stock rear exhaust support bracket that fits a 99 sporty. If anyone has one laying around, I would like to buy it from you. PM me if you have what I need.
Thanks,
John

Those damn things rattle to death and brake every time. Just leave it off.

If you can't fix it with duct tape or a hammer - you have an electrical problem.

no way I'm leaving it off. It is the only attachment point other than the flange.

I'm not sure what Streetfighters talking about them breaking & needing replaced every 3 months.

Thanks guys. I haven't looked anywhere but the dealer so far. The dealer wanted $150! I just welded it back together and fabbed up a rib and welded it along the bottom for a little more strength.

Streetfighter- the bike is 12yrs old and this is the first time I have had a problem.

Sounds like your pretty familiar w/metal equip - would it be possible to fab your own bracket...maybe stronger? Most of us batwing riders were forced to make our own/stronger fairing bracket - your homemade version would probably be much better than stock...just a thought.
