Default sundowner seat

just wanted to throw my 2 cents in - just installed the sundowner on my 2010 xl1200 low and what a differance. Id been trolling around looking for an upgrade and i liked this one. It does seem a bit too large for the bike, and the sides have a lot of play after install - i actually took it off 2x to ensure it was right, but while riding there is no play. it does sit you up about 2 inches and seems to want to slide you forward down steep hills - it is very comfortable - put 120 miles on it today - no butt numbness. hope this helps someone
peace

I also went with the sundowner making my sportie into a touring bike. I can't say enough good things about the seat! I went from being able to stand riding of about 150 miles a day, to now I don't want to get off the bike! Great seat, and I highly recommend it.

I like the seat i just don't like how the tilt forwards seat angle allows you to slide forward under braking. It's comfy but i just wish since it was a bucket that it held you in position with less effort.

My Sundowner has been on the bike since my second ride with about 8 miles on the Odo. July 15th I'm heading to western Pa, about 370 miles and can't wait. The Sundowner makes long rides very doable. Some will say that 370 is not a long ride but.

Once the seat is broken in, you won't slide forward as much. I've had my bike a tad over a year, almost 17,000 miles, and the sundowner has been on the whole time. I love it.

Yes when the seat gets broken in to your butt you will sit down into the seat more. It takes about 5K miles before it's broken in.

Mine only has a couple thousand miles on it, but I think it is very comfortable. I have done 3+ hour rides without a stop and I have had no dead-butt-itis. I'm a pretty big guy (6'2", 210) and it fits me well.
