i love how we turned SF's thread into a discussion about beer. west coast breweries rule dude! if you haven't already you have to drink anything that north coast does. phenomonal beers coming out of there.

Hahaha you two are retarded. Joe - get BMX's number and get off my thread! LOL

I haven't even started this project yet. Seriously thinking about just shelling out the cash for what I want.... a set of sikpipes

Or Joe can send me his short shots maybe. Still got them? I just want a bitchen set of pipes. Lots will not fit mid controls. Sikpipes is at the TOP of my list.

When you two are done talking about beer and kissing each other, shed some ideas or input.

I would make a support bracket to mount the rear well. I chopped off a 2-into-1 and thought it would be okay without a bracket on the back and ended up cracking the pipe due to vibration.

(funny.. my bike is the first picture when you go to the customer gallery).. which model do you like better?

BTW ... BmxAtv is sending you the bottle caps from the beer bottles I sent to him... lovely..

Joseph - Looks like only the edge, double barrel and helix will fit mids. Check and confirm.

Look at the Nash Motorcycle pipes made by sikpipes.. there is a model called the "Looky Looky" they look similar to your idea of cutting your drag pipes.. they look nice!.. also the "Straight Lewis" looks badass.. but those I am certain will burn your leg with mids..
