I rode my 02 sporty around for 3 years. I got the girl's bike comment a few times but usually it was from someone that doesn't even ride. The only reason I got rid of the bike was because it was beating me up on the long rides. Riding it around town was great or even on a few hour ride wasn't bad.

Until someone rides a sporty especially an older one then they would learn quickly that it's far from a "girl's" bike.
