I keep reading this here... and don't understand it?? I have NEVER heard anyone say my bike looks like a 'girls bike'. I get nothing but compliments on my bike even from guys on Gold Wings and the biggest Harleys. In fact I get more looks and questions from people then any one of my friends with Softtails and Dynas.

The BS part of it was both times they didnt see the bike at ALL. They just go for the snap judgement I found it amazing both times. on another note your bike is gorgeous.

The Iron was the only Harley Davidson I wanted. Nothing girly about it. The 48 is nice but I wanted an Iron, no other choice.

ehh imo no lol thats why I take it off and put it on when she wants to ride ... but for the price and for what we use it for the seat was perfect but idk how it would be for longer trips ! our combined weight is only about 265lbs so were arent big and even for us more than 2-3 hrs would be pretty tuff on the badlander

My son and I just rode 400 miles from So Cal to NE Phoenix yesterday and rode back today. On the way back this afternoon we pulled into Chiriaco Summit to grab some Gatorade (it was over 100 degrees out there) and ran into two Ultras at the gas pumps...they both looked at each other with "How the he--...?" expressions. My kid got a big kick out of all the people waving at him as we passed them. A girls bike? I think not.

Here are two pics of the bike that I haven't yet bothered to unpack as it sits when we pulled in a couple of hours ago:

Yeah most of the peeps ******* Sportys prolly got their license 2 yrs ago and had the funds to purchase a large Harley, so now their the end all be all.
Personally I can tell who the real bikers are by their riding style. Everyone else are yuppies with their hd fanfare cuz they are wannabe bad boy bikers. When I'm out and about it's all about me enjoying my ride and not showing off my ride cuz I don't give a f@";/ if you don't like my Sporty for now I enjoy and it's within my financial means and paid for, not some mortgage payment.
