Throttle cable question

Throttle cable question
Last week I had an unfortunate run in with a pheasant. The bird jumped up infront of me and I hit him with my handlebar/mirror. The mirror was out of place and easy to fix. But now my throttle cable seems like it is loose where it atatches to the handlebars. Everything works fine and I believe there is a little play in the cable to begin with but it just seems like it is little more loose than normal. Is there a spring or screw inside the grip that can be adjusted?
or am I just overreacting?
Thanx for any help!

grab the loose line,
push it straight up in to the housing firmly.
if the bird dislodged it then it will snap up and stay there (though it will still spin and wiggle).
the line is only held in to the housing by a tiny ring.
as such to install or remove the line you just have to push or pull hard enough to overcome the ring's spring pressure.
