Default Do I need to jet different? Added baffles - lost power.

I bought my 05 1200C this spring, put about 800 miles on it so far - love it! It had the Sreaming Eagle II mufflers and a Hypercharger (heard good and bad on that) when I got it. Anyhow the pipes had no baffles whatsoever and it was a little louder than I wanted. I got a set of Big City Thunder head pipe baffles to quiet it down, plus after talking to their tech guy, he said they would give me a lot more low and mid range power. Well after a 70 mile ride today, the sound is better, but I definately lost power at cruise speeds. Just seems really flat when you open it up. I have no idea if the bike was jetted different from stock, do you think it is rich now? And what is involved in changing jets?

Thanks
DT

if its a rich/lean issue my guess would be its too lean now. might not be this simple, but you can try adjusting your carb to let in some more fuel. (edited) my buddy disagrees with me... so you could be right!
btw, you might want to wait to make sure that you are gonna keep the baffles in. i bought baffles for my pipes and after riding awhile without them i decided that ear plugs were the way to go for me. actually love my loud pipes now and have experienced the "loud pipes save lives" more than once. besides, on the big road i think that ear plugs make sense for the wind noise anyway, so i am usually riding with the plugs in unless i am just going around town on shorter rides.

Pretty sure I'm gonna keep 'em in, it was just TOO loud before. BTW, I was getting right at 50 mpg before, haven't had a chance to check afterwards yet.
