I'm 6'3 and I have one and love it...u don't have to over stretch because of our height and arm length.

I've got a 48 with the HD pillion pad, which I put on as and when my wife wants to come out, she's 5'4" 100lbs and she loves it! We don't go too far maybe just out to the lakes or whatever, 45 minutes there, 45 minutes back but my wife and the bike handle it well.

I don't agree that the 48 is solo only bike, it certainly looks better as a solo bike which is why I don't leave the pilliion pad on all of the time, but it copes more that admirably with an occasional passenger, the only improvement that I am considering is some Road King air shocks.

I would agree the fender perch is not something I would ever want to sit on- no matter what size I was!

Dude, that goes for ANY machinery....

That's why I ended up with a Mustang Convert instead of a Range Rover Defender...

Dammit...

If the girl friend must come along, I'd say buy the Deluxe. On the other hand, part of the reason I bought my Forty-Eight is it's a solo bike, no rear seat, no rear foot pegs, in other words sorry honey it's not set up for two.

Girlfriends shouldn,t dictate hobby decisions. My wife knows I ride and doesn,t question it. If the girlfriend is already makeing decisions for you she is going to make real pain in the *** wife.

Default 48

I have had a 48 for a month and at 5'10" am comffortable. The forward controls help to stretch out a little but 6'4" might look a little awkward. The 48 is great for short around the town rides but doesn't have the gas tank or comfort for long rides. Overall a cool, fun bike though.
