Default 09' XR-1200 Low end bogg !

Will the slip-on mufflers air breather and fuel management fix the low end bogg on the xr-1200 ? Under 2,000 rpm's the bike is very boggy ! My bike is completly stock ! Thanks

That's normal for such low rpms. The power band of these motors is in the 3000+ rpm range. Under 2000 rpm is what many call "lugging" the engine. It won't run real great and there is very little power. The XR is a little better tuned, but still, you gotta get up in the power band. You shouldn't ever be under 2000rpm except idle/taking off. In fact, you can actually do some damage if you are consistently putting a load on the engine under 2000 rpms outside of taking off from a stop.

You're lugging teh engine at 2500 and below, you should ride around in teh 3-4K range, as that's the beginning of the powerband. Keep in mind, that the Buell type engine the XR was piggybacked with often got it's best mileage at 3500 rpm.
