Take it apart and start over. Follow those instructions I posted. Good Luck!

If you use Cometic gaskets (and some other makes) You do not use O-rings around the dowels.

Its Cometic gaskets. Its a brand name. Jims and Cometic make the best gaskets out there. I don't know what brand you used.

I can't help you with Harley gasket sets, I never use them and never will. Sorry. Did it say in the service manual to use te dowel O-rings?

for a 86 - 03 you would put the O-rings back on the dowels. BUT as I said some gasket manufacturers were able to do away with them. I don't know if they upgraded the Harley gaskets sets.

This is from the manual.
CAUTION
Be sure the head gasket fits around the dowel
pin O-rings (Figure 45). Otherwise, the
O-ring may leak.

Are you sure you torqued it back down to spec......I can't remember the exact spec's but I thought you had to mark the cylinder/head bolts after you torqued them to something like 120 ft/lb and then turning them another 1/4 turn. I had one of mine backing out after my Indy did the conversion, and I ddecided to go back and do the replacement myself.
