i tore it down to the rockers today....and just eye balling it it looks like it didn't seat properly...i torqued it to spec at the time but might have f'd something up...tommorow i'll go over it again...still not certain about the o rings on the dowels....

yep....both plugs are in it was actually the first thing i thought of...the weather has been terrible so thats keeping me semi contained...but after 3 months away working and figuring this thing would fire right up when i got home...its like mom told me christmas was cancelled this year

 

the issue was with the o-rings on the dowels..i had them in when they should have been left out...bolted it back up and she flashed right up...running really strong and sounds great...took it for a quick rip and am very happy with the results...i now have a new issue tho...i have a small leak around the front push rod tube...
