Air filter blow by oil

Well, it's specifically designed to be routed into the mouth of the carb and be burnt off through the exhaust. It's called positive crank case ventilation...but the stage one kits allow it to pool up in the bottom of the filter then drip out occassionally. Keep your oil at 3/4 full and you won't have the crank case oil mist. Easy as that.

Thanks guys I was just getting worried if it was a bigger problem. It's only a little bit and I can live with it but when I do my first oil change I will take the suggestion of 3/4 full. The guy who sold it to me told me that be prepared after long rides for a little oil seepage from their. I just thought it was Odd being use to metric bikes in the past.

For those that have been around awhile, most of us know that to prevent oil blow-by, the standard practice is to run the oil level about 1/2 quart low, or about 1/2 way between the ADD & FULL mark on the dip stick.
If you have your oil level at 1/2 way on the dipstick with the bike on the jiffy and then stand the bike upright (the bikes normal operation position) and check the oil level again, it will measure at or very close to the Full mark on the dipstick.
I still say that the Owners Manuals are wrong and that the Sporty's oil level should be checked with the bike in the upright position. Think about it, measuring the level on the jiffy explains why most of us have learned to fill only to the 1/2 way point. Many people also raise or lower the suspension on their bikes, and without replacing the jiffy, this changes the lean angle of the bike on the jiffy and that WILL change the reading on the dipstick.
If you check and fill the oil level with the bike upright, you'll get it right.

Thanks cHarley. I was thinking the same thing as the previous owner told me to check the oil on the jiffy which I thought odd. But like he said it has no center stand Like most metrics. I still centered it and checked bcuz I won't b riding it on an angle and being upright would give the true value.

Just so nobody winds up dropping their bike, you don't need to be holding the bike upright when checking the dipstick.
Remove, clean, and reinstall the dipstick while on the jiffy.
Stand the bike upright for a couple of seconds, and return to the jiffy.
Now, pull the dipstick and read the level.
*You can't take smarts for granted here.
