It's an engine it leaks, **** breaks get over it's a little oil. Replace the gaskets, torque the head bolts to the proper amount and ride. Any engine will seep and leak even if it only has a few thousand miles especially if it sits there more than you ride.

Wrong, not every bike leaks oil. I've had and seen plenty of bikes (MUCH older and with FAR more miles than the OP's) that didn't leak a drop. Excusing stuff like this because it's "normal" or "it's a Harley, just get used to it" is just ignorant.

To the OP:
You have every right to be upset but no need to worry. I would expect ZERO problems (including leaks) from bikes as new as yours and I would be ticked at an oil leak on a 3yr old bike. Don't stress over it though as in order for it to leak enough to actually cause a real problem it would have to be POURING out. Just check your oil level from time to time as add as needed until you can get the gasket replaced.
Apparently rocker box leaking is a somewhat common problem. I never personally had any leaks on mine but others have. Just replace the gasket and hope it holds, that's all you can do. If it doesn't work and you're not willing to put up with an oil leaking bike, there are LOT's of great bikes out there to be had.
Also, the Synthetic oil has absolutely NOTHING to do with the leak. Synthetic oil causing leaks is an old wives tale that that has somehow managed to survive despite millions of riders who have proven otherwise.

there is a good write up with pics in the how to section. Give it a try. I changed my rear one using that as a guide. Not to bad to do. 2 wrenches out of 5.

Mine can leak all it wants to! I love wrenching on it just as much as I love riding on it.

Now if I could just find that 5mm allen wrench....

My 02 never leaked. I'm not sure why people are telling you it's ok or not a problem. Get it fixed or fix it yourself. If it leaks again, something is warped and that may be a bigger problem.

So common that a search would have found many posts on the issue.
Had mine done at 7200 miles, fine now.
Indy did the work for around $150.
Relax, its just a gasket job.
I assume you bought a Harley because you wanted a Harley.

You think you have it bad! Mine leaked from new. Day 1 (10 miles) splashes on boots. Day 3 (20 miles) splashed all over engine!

Dealer was great though and it seems OK now - fingers crossed.
