Need suggestions.
I want to do something with my battery and oil covers, I've seen pics of silver bikes with chrome and silver ones and don't really like them. I was thinking of sticking chrome Skull Collection gas cap medallions on each one, they fit perfect. I was wondering if any one had any other idea's. I like the black but need something else on them. What do you think of the medallion look.

Two options direct from HD. You can put chrome covers on or you can get a set color matched to the tank and fenders. Color matching makes the bike flow well compared to the black covers.
Check page 808 in the 2007 catalog. Price is $165. Order from your local dealer and you'll have them in a couple weeks.

Yeah, Harley want $165 for the 'Color Matched Covers', but you can get a much better deal by ordering them through one of the places that give discounts.
I got mine (Lava Red Sunglo) for $138.40, plus just a couple dollars for shipping.
It can take between 2 to 4 weeks to get them, as they are a special order through the factory. I think mine got here in about 3 weeks.

I'm not a fan of the skulls myself either. If I go down, a bunch of skulls is not the last thing that I want to see. Besides, they're on the same level as "Live to Ride" stickers - IMO.
My idea - Find a badge that you like, maybe a Bar and Shield, "Sportster" script, or a skull. But, follow it up with a nice pinstripe that matches the pinstripe on the rest of your tins.
