I was looking at some wide glides and thinking about the possibility of getting a WG as well...nothing serious but just a thought.

Let me know what you think after putting some miles on it and give us brief review.

I suggest paying off the nightster (if you are still paying for it) then just buy the Dyna. You will wish you still had your sporty after the newness wears off of the wide glide.

well right off the bat it has amazing power and the 6 speed trans is icing on the cake.

wanted all black but they had 3 black with the orange flames in stock and wanted to move them, ended up paying $7800 OTD after my trade and the price included
a reach seat which lists for $250 itself. couldnt believe the price when he started
punching it up on the screen and to me it was a no brainer especialy since i kept
a lot of the items i had installed on the nightster.

best part it has a fuel range meter and with just over 3/4s of a tank it says 170 miles left to go.

I would have thought the N would be quicker off the line. As for acquiring the wide glide I have the N paid off so probably keep the N and add another to the stable.

I own quite a few Harley's, and the WideGlide's have always been my favorites.

In fact I currently own 2 Dyna WideGlides, a 1996 EVO (which is now semi-retired) and my 2003 modified TC.

i paid cash for my nightster last year so i owned it out right and would have loved to have kept that too but only have a one car garage, while it is an extended garage with my 73 scamp im restoring in there and my lawn and snow equipment there just wasnt enough room for 2 bikes.

My buddy has a wide glide, my Nightster smokes it bad out of the hole. The highway is another matter.

Nightsters are both quicker and faster than the Big Twins. They accelerate much better, and have more top speed. What they don't have is room and comfort.
