Knowledge Is power,,,

There's alot of smart people In here that know alot more than I about
Sportsters.
People seeking extra performace often spend alot of money and I feel
that they do not always do the research needed to get the best bang
for the buck.
These EFI bikes are a whole different animal.
I've come across more than one Sportster with a Hi flow air filter and
some badass sounding pipes and a rider who said they gave him more performance
only to spank him with my Stock bike.
In one case a down load from V&H fixed the problem and that rider
was able to pull away from me,,,barely.
In another, a rider had a sensor problem and His Auto Tune retuned and
Hid the problem giving Him a loud slow bike. He had no Idea.
Then He got It fixed and Let the Auto tune reset the bike.
Then as per a tuner he disconnected the auto tune so he would know
If something went wrong.
We both had no Idea that once tuned an Auto tune should be disabled.
That bike guru said Autotune should be used where elevation changes alot
or enabled when the seasons change.
Getting an EFI bike set up correctly Is not hard but It's still very easy
to get It wrong.
Ok Ok too much coffie, I'll shut the hell up XD
