Default Fork Reflectors

I know alot of people remove them. Want to take mine off, just wondering what the best method is. Just pry them off?

Pry them off, it's relatively easy. To get the rest of the glue off use either brake cleaner or WD40.

Dental floss works well XD
seriously..
If you press against the fork lower real evenly,,less sticky to clean off
and no chance of scratching the fork lower.

Use a hair dryer to heat the reflector first, that will soften the adhesive. Then slid dental floss or lightweight fishing line behind and down the length of the reflector.

WD-40, or Goo-Gone will take off the leftover residue.

I used a knife and then some heavy duty degreaser. The forks were simple, but the side plates for the sissy bar were a Bit**!

just pull them off with your hands, they will break as you pull them but they are trash anyhow... dont use a screw driver or anything, if you scratch you will regret it....

That's why you have to be aware of all requirements to pass a safety. In my province if I take pretty much anything off I won't pass safety (belt guards, fenders, reflectors, mirrors, turn signal, etc).

on the 2010 iron all my stick-on reflectors just pulled off by hand.
the glue stayed behind.
the 'glue' seems to be a 3m rubber type of stuff. i rolled it right off with my fingers. it left no residue.

gayachusetts would fail you for sitting on the bike wrong, if they could.
