Default Project Cafe Bike - My Dad's old Ironhead

My Dad passed a few years ago and his brother wanted his '73 Ironhead. Recently, my uncle got bored and passed it on to me. Not being a fan of the stock buckhorns and fenders, I went to work.
I had a Benelli Mojave tank sitting around I bought at a swap meet. I welded the cap and bung in from the stock tank. I made the tail section out of the stock fender. The 1" clubman bars, the license/taillight bracket, the clearcoat and the NOS AMF decals are the only purchase so far.

Exhaust, Clutch Cable, Brake Line and a battery and I am hitting the streets!

Nice work brah! Nice to do something with your old man's bike and to ride it with the thought of it being your dad's bike. I would be proud of that bike for sure! Great job!

@ simmy 711 - you totally get it. cheers!

@mreed - thanks amigo. I've spent some late nights and filled my garage with dust and fumes to get it here - all time well spent.
