I started and now cannot ride without music. I use bluetooth headsets (bestbuy), removed all the plastic and lined the buds in my helmet. I use the bluetooth off my iphone and play my music wirelessly, so no wires are present. I just keep my iphone in my pocket. Best thing ever. Pretty comfortable too. Funny thing is, I can still hear my surroundings even though I have my music loud.

I used my iPod on a ride from Vegas to Boise with Shure earphones which really help block the wind but still let you hear the music, really helped cuz that was a long boring ride through the desert. I used to wear them all the time even around town but now it is pretty much just on longer trips.

I don't own an ipod yet but I do always listen to music when riding - never go without my little Radio Shack am/fm receiver attached to the bars and the Skull Candy plugged in. And yes they do stay in at highway speed as long as they fit correctly and you don't turn your head for too long.

And beats the hell out of listening to just the wind.

Sometimes I'd like to put my Skull Candies in when my wife is bitching. I know they stay in with the wind on the motorcycle but I'm not sure if they will withstand a heavy slap from the wife.

gotta put a plug in for the JVC Marshmallows. Gay name, but awesome on the bike. They're half earplugs and half headphones!

I just look them up online. Looks like you can get them at wal mart for like $15. I might have to go get a pair!!
